What we do, and how to contact us...

eCreate was formed in 1999 for the purpose of providing design and internet services.

Our experiences and customer requirements have led us to develop our own content management applications using Open Source tools for maintainability, stability and low cost. As a result, we're now able to offer functionality not normally available at such low cost.

Our philosophy is that you should own your site and it's content without having to depend on your web agency. This is why we don't insist on selling you our own hosting plans, and why we developed our content management system to allow any web designer to refresh the look of your site without upsetting the programs which run it.

Over time, we've developed a large amount of PHP code, and we're keen to share that with the community.  Recently, we've been releasing code to various Open Source community projects and sites, and concentrating more on PHP5, which we like for its fusion of Java-style object-oriented code with quick and easy deployment and development.  If you'd like more information about some of our products or code, or would like to get involved with what we do, please email us.  If you have a project that requires additional programming resource, we are available for on-site work in the Hertfordshire area in the UK, or remotely.

Why Google adverts?

Well, we changed our view of our competitors. Simply put, if you browse around competitor sites, you'll see that they often charge a lot of money for their software. Our product was always designed to be cheap to use, and now it's free under an Open Source licence - most of the competitors who will be advertising via Google and therefore via our site, will charge a lot of money for their software. We're just giving you the opportunity to compare products. You don't lose anything by trying our software out. There's even a sandbox if you don't have the time to download and install. So, feel free to browse some of the 'competitors' that Google has picked out to put on our site to get a comparison. They'll be more than pleased to take your money if you really want to pay over the odds :)
