I'm a contractor and freelancer, operating as eCreate Web Services Limited.  I mostly undertake contracts of a reasonable length, such as 3-6 months.  I prefer to develop a mixture of PHP and Java, but have been known to take on one or the other if I can't get a contract requiring both.
